Governor lauds family members of Dr Neilhouzhü Kire


Dimapur, May 16: Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya has appreciated and congratulated the family of late Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire on the announcement of ‘a one-time grant’ awards for toppers in several categories in the 2018 HSLC examinations in commemoration of their late father’s 100 years of matriculation.
The Governor said he was happy to learn that the family has adopted Dr Neilhouzhü Kire Government Higher Secondary School and termed it a wonderful social responsibility which the family has undertaken.
Acharya also appreciated the idea of awarding the toppers of Tenyidie and stated that mother tongue is the identity of an individual and we should protect and promote our languages.
The family of Dr Neilhouzhü Kire has show an example of ‘Achievers should be givers’, he stated. Those empowered with knowledge and are successful in their field should give back to their society, state and country, he added. (Page News Service)
