Governor interacts with Naga students in Mangalore


Dimapur, August 23: Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya Thursday encouraged students studying outside the State to come back to their town and villages and work for the benefit of the society once they complete their education.
Addressing students from Nagaland at NITTE University in Mangalore today, the Governor urged the students to take keen interest in learning the local language and to take active part in cultural exchange programmes.
The Governor also met with the Chancellor and academic heads of the University.
NITTE University, under the initiative of the Governor has been offering seats in various courses for students from Nagaland for the past few years. The University has exempted the tuition and hostel fees in full for the courses. (Page News Service)
