
Dimapur, April 20: Governor RN Ravi had an interaction cum consultative meeting on Tuesday with leaders of various sects and faiths based organization of Nagaland on COVID-19 pandemic at Dr Imkongliba Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima. Leaders of Hindu, Muslim, Jain, Sikh, Budhist and indigenous faiths attended the meeting.
The Governor discussed the COVID situation in the State and told them that such an extraordinary situation calls for concerted efforts of every individual, every section of the society, every faith and every community.
He urged the faith leaders to rise up to the occasion and proactively make people more conscious for strict adherence to the COVID-19 appropriate protocols and encourage the eligible people for vaccination.
The Governor thanked the leaders for their valuable suggestions and assured them to take up with the State Government for further action. (Page News Service)
