DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 24: Governor RN Ravi has extended Sekrenyi greetings to the Angami community and the people of Nagaland.
In a message issued on Wednesday, Ravi stated that the festival is an occasion for the Angami people to celebrate the spirit of togetherness, cleansing themselves of all the wrongs and renouncing ill-will against each other.
“Festival like Sekrenyi has kept the unity of the people, be in the village or beyond through centuries. I urge the Angami youth to comprehend and carry forward the underlying intellectual, spiritual and philosophical significance of Sekrenyi. Let us continue to observe Covid-19 protocols throughout the celebrations. On this auspicious occasion, I wish you all good health, peace and prosperity,” he said.
