Dimapur, September 2: Nagaland Governor, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi has extended Mongmong greetings to the Sangtam community and to the people of Nagaland.
“This beautiful festival is a celebration for good harvest. Mongmong is also a time of togetherness, sharing of produce and forgiveness,” he said.
Calling upon all to celebrate Mongmong observing Covid-19 protocols, the Governor wished all good health, happiness and prosperity.
Dy.CM: Deputy Chief Minister Y.Patton has greeted the Sangtam community on the occasion of Mongmong festival.
Patton said that it is a festival associated with harvest and other significant rituals.
On behalf of State BJP legislators, the Dy.CM conveyed heartiest festive greetings and hoped that the celebrations will bring prosperity and unity to the people.
