Governor extends Janmashtami greetings

Dimapur, September 1: Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya has extended greeting and good wishes to the people of Nagaland, particularly the Hindu community, on the occasion of Janmashtami which marks the birth of Lord Krishna.
The Governor called on all to strive and build a world free from malice and full of brotherhood and compassion. He said Lord Krishna’s noble message of righteous conduct and action should inspire each and every one so as to strengthen the moral foundations of the society and strive selflessly to take the country to new heights. He encouraged all to perform ones duties righteously and said that good results will definitely follow right actions.
Stating that unity in diversity is the peculiarity of India and is a synthesis of diverse social and cultural elements, the Governor called on all to strive in building a world free from malice and full of brotherhood and compassion and to take our country to new heights.
