Governor extends Holi greetings


Dimapur, March 1: Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya has extended greetings on the occasion of Holi to the people of Nagaland in particular and the country in general.
Terming Holi as a colourful and vibrant festival, the Governor said that the festival strengthens fraternity and togetherness amongst the people and spreads peace, prosperity in the society.
In a message, the Governor said Holi signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and appealed to the people to let the spirit of Holi rise above all barriers and strengthen the social fabric to make Nagaland shine by bringing the society together with the spirit of forgiveness and renewing friendship.
It is also a good time to spread the message of peace, joy and love across society and to celebrate unity in diversity, he added.
“May this festival of colours strengthen the bonds of friendship and go a long way in promoting brotherhood and unity among the people” the Governor wished.(Page News Service)
