Dimapur, April 12: Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya has conveyed Rama Navami, Rongali Bihu, Vishu and Vaisakhi greetings to the Hindu, Assamese, Malayali and Bengali communities living in Nagaland in particular and people in general.
Conveying his greetings, the Governor hoped that the festivals be a harbinger of a new dawn of warm and harmonious relationship, peace, prosperity and progress in the state. He stated that all these festivals are cultural identities of different states and should keep them alive.
The Governor said that festivals unite people regardless of their religions or backgrounds and promote the celebration of diversity. He called on the people to become agents of change in building a stronger nation.
The Governor further expressed hope that the celebration of the festivals would reinforce love and goodwill among the people and also bring with it peace, prosperity and goodwill for the people of the country.
