Dimapur, August 6: Governor of Nagaland R N Ravi has extended greetings to the Khiamniungan community and the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Biam festival.
In his message, the Governor said Biam is a festival to say thanks to the Almighty for His blessings and pray to Him for a good harvest.
He said the rituals performed at the granary during the festival reflects the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of our people.
The Governor urged upon the youth to divine deep into this richness and carry it forward.
He also prayed to the Almighty to bless abundantly as they celebrate the festival at home during this extraordinary Covid-19 situation. (Page News Service)
