Dimapur, January 26: Nagaland Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi has extended Bishu greetings to the Kachari community and to the people of Nagaland.
“This post harvest festival foster love, reconciliation and courtesy. It is also a time when the rich cultural and spiritual practices are in full display and the Kacharis rejoice and seek blessings,” he said.
The Governor appealed to all to celebrate the festival responsibly by adhering to all the Covid-19 protocols.
Dy.CM: Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton has also extended Bishu greetings to the Kachari community.
Patton said festivals are celebrated to remind ourselves of the great legacy left behind by our ancestors.
On behalf of the State BJP legislators, the Dy. CM conveyed heartiest Bishu greetings and hope that it will foster greater friendship and goodwill among the people.
