Newly constructed Government Observation Home building inaugurated at Longleng

Dimapur, February 19: The newly constructed Government Observation Home, Longleng, at Bahok Ward, Longleng, was inaugurated by Sarah R. Ritse, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Social Welfare Department and Chairman, Child Protection Services, Nagaland on February 17 in presence of A. Tosheli Zhimomi, Additional Director, Social Welfare Department and Society Director of Child Protection Services, Nagaland.
Speaking at the function as special guest, Sarah R. Ritse highlighted that Longleng is the third district in Nagaland to have constructed the building for the Government Observation Home for juveniles (both boys and girls). The building is meant to house juveniles in conflict with law during the pendency of a case. She encouraged the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) and all the stakeholders to work together to mentor the juveniles in conflict with law become decent and responsible citizens.
