Gothia Cup: SC Nagaland draws Ahus IF


Kohima, July 17: In the ongoing Gothia Cup at Sweden, the Under-15 girls team SC Nagaland today drew their match with Ahus IF. The match ended in 2-2 draw with Abeno and team captain Imli Merenla Jamir scoring for SC Nagaland in 56th and 50th minute.
Earlier on Monday, SC Nagaland lost against Vasteras BK30 by 3-0 while yesterday they faced a drub of 14-0 against Swedish Team IF Brommapojkar.
Nonetheless, SC Nagaland has got yet another chance to proof their metal as theu would be playing the knock-out round of 32 against Halvikens SK.
The 21-member squad comprising of 14 U-15 girls team and seven officials is led by Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, MLA Zale Neikha. to participate in forthcoming Gothia Cup 2019, an international football cup at Gottenburg.
Imli Merenla Jamir is the captain of the 14 member state team, which will represent India in the Gothia Cup as SC Nagaland while team coach is FIFA Grade-A coach Sebastian Rasmussen and Assistant coach is Ruopfuo Meyase.
