Dimapur, September 24: Go Air, one of the leading low cost carriers of India conducted a recruitment drive in Siliguri at the Emporium Skills Training Institute, City Centre. Students/candidates from various north east states participated in the interview.
Altogether 58 candidates from Emporium Skills Training Institute, Dimapur went to Siliguri to participate in the interview and 17 of them got selected as cabin crew. Nagaland recorded the highest number of selections amongst all states, overall 25 students/candidates were hired during the recruitment drive out of which 17 are from Nagaland.
All these selected Naga candidates are currently undergoing training at the Emporium Skill Training Institute, Dimapur under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna Scheme (PMKVY2.0) which is conducted under the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland.
The selected candidates will be reporting to Mumbai shortly and will fly to around 25 destinations in India & 7 overseas destinations with monthly starting salaries ranging between Rs 50-60 thousand, said an official release. (Page News Service)
