Kohima, March 12: The Government Higher Secondary School Pfutsero is introducing composite organic kitchen gardening as vocational learning for class 6-8 students as part of the school initiative to impart life skill education to the students during the current academic year.
Observing seeds sowing day on March 12 at the school compound, Pfutsero GHSS principal Vechikhoyi Lohe reminded the students on the importance of work culture and to learn as much life skill as possible.
The school Grade IV staff made the necessary preparations of the school composite kitchen garden and taught the students on the techniques of sowing the seeds.
The school is making effort to re-introduce carpentry and knitting classes for elementary students of the school.
Further, through the RMSA support, music lesson are being introduced in the school as vocational learning.
