Dimapur, December 7: A Futsal Ground & Cricket Pitch (sponsored by Nagaland Cricket Association) was inaugurated during the opening day of Tetso Olympics 2022-the annual sports meet of Tetso College, by special guest Abu Metha, Advisor to Chief Minister on December 7. Also in attendance was Amit Sengupta, Head of Press and Communications, British High Commission, Kolkata Office.
A press release informed that 6 teams – Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Saturn, Mercury and Neptune – are competing in the three-day event this year.
a message from Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) was delivered by Hyunilo Anilo Khing, Secretary, NCA who shared greetings from the Association and highlighted the growing cricket scenario in Nagaland. He encouraged and requested the college to include cricket in the next edition.
Special guest Abu Metha shared his knowledge and encouraged the students with his motivating and insightful speech.
Towards the end, the oath taking ceremony was administered by Nepoleon Keisham, Coordinator, Tetso Olympic Committee, with the six houses swearing the oath with their flags. The ceremony ended with a kick off by the special guest.
