Dimapur, April 30: Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) scheme, free foodgrain was distributed to ration card holders under Daklane colony, Kohima today.
Ali Tungoe, President of Daklane Women Organization appreciated the government and Daklane Panchayat for distribution of free foodgrains to the needy peoples during the lockdown period.
She said under PMGKAY, 10 kg of foodgrains was distributed to per head for two months. She also thanked the government for helping the stranded students, daily wagers and needy peoples in the colony.
The beneficiaries thanked the government for constant helped and support during difficult period for distribution of foodgrains to them. (Page News Service)
