Dimapur, March 9: On account of International Women’s Day, a two-day free baking class was organised by the Kiphire District Administration, DLCW- Manila Shakti Kendra and Sakhi- one stop centre on March 5 and 6.
Altogether, 22 women from 11 wards, SHGs and women organisations attended the class. On the final day, Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, Wati Aier, NCS encouraged the trainees to take the opportunity and apply what they have learnt as a small step towards a sustainable livelihood. The training incorporated both modern and traditional methods of baking and recipes.
