Foundation courses for NCS (P) & NSS begins


Dimapur, April 24: The future of the people in the State is in your hands, and how you are trained and groomed at ATI will decide how you deliver the justice to the people, said Commissioner and Secretary, Abhishek Singh, IAS while speaking as a special guest at the inaugural programme for the Combine Foundation Course for NCS (P) 2018 batch and NSS 48th batch at Multipurpose Hall, ATI on Tuesday.
The training is aimed at inculcating values significant for your carriers, said Abhishek Singh congratulating the officers and trainees for their success. Let us strive to ensure a better opportunity for all children – education, health and even other sectors, as we venture into our new assigned task, he called.
Life in the outpost will be tough, Singh pointed and urged the Nagaland Civil Service officers to retrospect the reason of them joining the service. Take your assignments as an opportunity, and create your own works to stay active, he encouraged.
Singh encouraged the Nagaland Secretariat Service trainees to focus on how to improve the functioning of the Government and provide better assistance to the society. Lamenting the poor work culture in some departments at Secretariat, he called on the trainees to work towards making a difference in such areas.
The main objective of the training is to acquaint and inculcate in the trainees the spirit of good governance, and the basic knowledge of the political, social and economic scenario in the State, said Director, Administrative Training Institute, R. Asenla Keitzar, IAS, delivering the keynote address.
The training is also aimed at keeping you mentally, physically and spiritually fit, for which ample opportunities will be provided, she said. Assuring a comfortable stay at ATI, she reiterated the department’s support at every stage of the training.
