Former President’s demise: Nagaland declares 7-days State mourning

Dimapur, August 31: The Government of Nagaland has declared 7-days State mourning as a mark of respect to former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, who passed away on Monday at New Delhi.
The 7-days State mourning will be observed throughout Nagaland from August 31 to September 6 (both days inclusive).
During the period of State mourning, the National Flag will fly at half mast on all buildings throughout the State where it is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment, said a communique from the Chief Secretary of Nagaland. (Page News Service)
