Dimapur, February 12: Former Minister, T Talinungsang passed away Wednesday at Dimapur after a prolonged illness.
Late T Tali represented 21 Tuli assembly constituency five times.
Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio has expressed grief at the demise of T Tali, saying in his death the people of Nagaland have lost a good and prominent leader, who loved and served the public for many years with zeal and commitment.
“Late T Tali was a former colleague and a personal friend. I still recollect many fond memories of our times together during the years when we worked together. The void left by his death will be difficult to fill,” he said.
The CM conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that his soul rest in peace.
Deputy Chief Minister and State BLP leader, Y Patton has expressed grief at the demise of former minister T Tali on February 12 after a prolonged illness.
Lt. T. Tali was immensely loved by the people, which is evident from that fact that he was elected to represent the people of Tuli assembly constituency for a record five times between 1977 and 2003, he said, adding his passing away has left a void, but his good deeds for the well being of the people, will continue to stay for years to come.
Patton on behalf of BJP legislators extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that his soul find eternal peace.
NLA Speaker: Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Sharingain Longkumer has expressed grief at the demise of T Tali, ex-MLA and former Minister who passed away today at Dimapur.
“Late Shri T. Tali was a humble and a visionary man who worked diligently for the welfare and upliftment of his Constituency and for the people of Nagaland. His death has caused a great loss to the Nagas in general and the Ao community in particular and the void created by him will be difficult to fill,” he said.
The Speaker on behalf of the members of the Thirteenth Nagaland Legislative Assembly conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty God grant solace and comfort at this hour of grief to the bereaved family.
MP LS: MP Lok Sabha, Tokheho Yepthomi has expressed grief at the demise of T Tali, former Minister, saying his demise leaves a vacuum, which will be hard to fill.
“I had the opportunity to work with him as Members of Nagaland Legislative Assembly. He was a humble person who dedicated his time and service for his constituents and people of Nagaland,” he said.
The MP conveyed condolences to his family and prayed that God will grant them strength to face this hour of grief.
NDPP: The NDPP has expressed grief at the demise of T Talinungsang Wednesday morning. Saying in his passing away Nagas have lost a great personality and leader.
“An affable and simple person, he was the epitome of simple living high standards and he had represented Tuli Assembly Constituency for so many decades. Soft-spoken and never one to lose his cool easily, he was dearly loved by young and old of the Constituency,” said NDPP president Chingwang Konyak in a condolence message.
The rank and file of the NDPP conveyed heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
NPCC: The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has expressed grief at the demise of T Talinungsang Lemtur, ex-Minister and PCC member from 21 Tuli A/C, saying his passing has left a void which cannot be filled.
“In the loss, Nagaland has lost a diamond to dust,” said NPCC president K Therie.
The NPCC offered deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for his soul to rest in peace. (Page News Service)
