DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 7: The Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) called on Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton at his official residential office, at Kohima, on December 5, and apprised him of the urgency to keep the foothills road pliable at least during the winter season in the greater interest of the Naga public.
A press release issued by NFHRCC convener Subu Jamir, general secretary W Lemba Chang and assistant general secretary Chenithung Humtsoe informed that the Dy.CM was very positive and assured to the direct the concerned Department to explore the ground reality at the earliest and also consult with the Chief Minister as well since it will require additional budgetary involvement.
In this regards, the NFHRCC informed that it has convened another emergency meeting on December 9, at 3 p.m., at its base office, Kher Mahal, Dimapur.
It requested all tribal members to attend the meeting positively.
