Dimapur, September 14: Fire personnel prevented fire from spreading at Zeliang Colony, Burma Camp, Dimapur Monday morning.
On receiving Fire call at 10:26 a.m. at Zeliang Colony, Burma Camp, Dimapur, Fire & Emergency Services mobilized a quick response team from Fire Station Dimapur (Central) to control the fire.
Two Fire Tenders along with sufficient Equipments & Fire Personnels were pressed into action. Due to timely response from Fire personnel, properties worth over Rs 10 lakhs could be salvaged and fire could be prevented from spreading and also prevented explosion of a gas cylinder which had caused fire.
There was no casualty. Cause of fire is due to commercial LPG cylinder hose Leakages.
