Dimapur, November 14: The official handing and taking over programme of the newly formed Fazl Ali College Students’ Union (FACSU) for the session 2021-22 was held on November 11 in the conference hall of the college. The programme, which was chaired by Dr Imliwati Longkumer, started with the vice-principal, R. Arenla Aier welcoming the gathering and congratulating the new FACSU executive council.
Tzulensa (outgoing general secretary) and Lanutangit (newly elected general secretary) delivered short speeches on behalf of their respective teams while the official introduction of the new FACSU team and the formality of handing and taking over was conducted by MesutobaAo (convener, Students’ Advisory Committee, FAC).
The newly elected team of students’ union was briefed on the upcoming NAAC peer team visit to the college by Dr Lanurenla (IQAC convener) while orientation on the FACSU constitution was given by Nukshimoa (member, Students’ Advisory Committee, FAC). Dr Aotemshi pronounced a special prayer for the new team of FACSU.
