
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 2: The Public Grievances Department of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has asked the Commissioner and Secretary of Social Welfare to explain “financial irregularities” with regard to Sakhi One Stop Centre project.
The ultimatum, issued on October 31, warned that failure to “make justification of the financial irregularities” would prompt the NPCC cell to take it up with the appropriate authority.
“With reference to the press release issued by the Public Grievances Department of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee on September 24, 2022 in regard to the differences of figure amount of Rs 5,49,39,113 out of the Rs 11,36,20,880 sanctioned by the Government of India for construction of One Stop Centre for 11 districts, as replied in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly starred question No. 6 dated Februarys 6, 2021 by the Minister In-charge.
“In this regard, why the Department should not make justification of the financial irregularities?” it stated.
