Dimapur, November 11: The Dimapur Ex-Cricketers Forum and Kohima Veterans Cricket Club will play an exhibition match on November 13 at Sovima Cricket Ground, Dimapur. The game will be a day/night affair and is scheduled to start at 12 noon.
In the match, two teams of 11 players will play 4 innings match of 20 overs per inning. Both Kohima and Dimapur will field two separate teams for the match.
Convener of DECF, Harjinder Singh Ahluwalia mentioned that the main objective of the exhibition match is to play together, maintain physical fitness and help promote youngsters. He stated that there are plans to promote veterans cricket all over Nagaland.
A special trophy will be awarded to the team champions and runners up, and Man of the Match will be awarded for both innings. (Page News Service)
