DIMAPUR, MARCH 18: Observing that “few schools” in Nagaland have resumed regular classes for students of pre-primary classes without approval from the competent authority, the department of School Education warned of action against the erring school heads and managements.
In an order issued on Thursday, the department iterated that the State government has allowed resumption of normal classes only for students of classes 6 and above with effect from February 8, and for students of classes 1 to 5 with effect from March 22.
DC Mon notifies
The Deputy Commissioner of Mon, Thavaseelan K, on March 16, directed schools to abstain from resuming classes/activities for classes below 1/Pre-schools/Kindergarten/Montessori schools in the district until further directive from the government.
He warned of disciplinary action against any institution found violating the order.
