DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 11: The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has temporarily suspended its agitation after considering the appeal letter from the Cabinet sub- committee, P&AR Department notification No.AR-8/NSSB-3/2020 dated December 7, 2020.
This was unanimously resolved in an emergency presidential meeting held at Tuensang HQ with 6 federating units – Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU), Khaimniungan Students’ Union (KSU), Konyak Students’ Union (KSU), Phom Students’ Conference (PSC), United Sangtam Students’ Conference and Yimchunger Akheru Arih-Ako (YAA).
The ENSF further set a deadline for the Cabinet to fulfill the ENSF charter of demand (NSSB&NPSC) before January 10, 2021, failing which it will resume its agitation “in a more extreme form even up to the extent of taking law and order situation into its hand.”
