Dimapur, March 6: Wokha District Administration and DLCW-MSK under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao on March 2 distributed encouragement gifts to all girl child who will be appearing HSLC and HSSLC examination 2021.
Imtinungla Longkumer, EAC Wokha (HQ) gave a brief introduction on the purpose of the programme. She added that this was the second time that the district has organized such activity for the girl child.
She wished all the schools the very best and also conveyed a message to the students appearing for their exams to study smart and excel in their results.
Orenthung Lotha, Deputy Commissioner, also took a short time to encourage and motivate the teaching staffs and conveyed a message to the students appearing for their exams to outshine at every aspect in their results.
The presentation of the gift hampers was followed after this short event. The encouragement gift included a pencil pouch, 2 pens, a pencil, an eraser, a sharper and a book mark which was handed to the head masters and teachers in charge of respective schools.
All together 38 schools from Wokha district were covered under this activity.
