Nagaland is going for the polls on February 27 to elect representatives for the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and the results would be announced on March 2. This year’s election was announced within a short notice and the campaigning period for the political parties was also shortened. However, very few public rallies were seen where the candidates presented their views. Unlike previous elections, political campaign were very few and candidates preferred to campaign in small pockets. Meantime, people are eager to cast their votes.
