Dimapur, March 16: Elder Line, the national helpline for senior citizens, was launched during the Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting held at DC’s conference hall on March 16 under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Kumar Ramnikant.
During the meeting, the national helpline for senior citizens was launched by Programme Manager, Elder Line Nagaland, Neithonuo Liegise.
She highlighted the activities of the helpline and its objectives for complaints and grievance of the senior citizens.
The House discussed the following and forwarded to the higher ups for necessary consideration: up-gradation of Noksen Primary Health Centre (PHC) to Community Health Centre (CHC); opening of new school at Sangsomong Village located under Longkhim area and up-gradation of GHS Hakushang to GHSS.
