Kohima, July 3: A meeting between the All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers Group (ANATG)-2015 batch and Advisor of School Education, MLA K T Sukhalu today failed to arrive at any consensus solution to the demands of ANATG.
ANATG sources said that their executive body and spokesperson called on Advisor Sukhalu at his chamber in the Secretariat with their sole demand of ‘service regulation’.
Nonetheless, with both sides having their own explanations remained firm on their stand failing to arrive at any conclusive conclusion.
ANATG sources also said that the proposed meeting with their parent body – All Nagaland School Teachers Association and apex student bodies NSF and ENSF following Saturday’s intervention is yet to be held.
Today was the third day that ANATG-2015 batch temporarily suspended their 11 days long peaceful agitation and two days of hunger strike following the intervention of ANSTA, NSF and ENSF on Saturday.
The adhoc teachers are hopeful of holding another round of meeting with their parent body and the student organizations at earliest. (Page News Service)
