Dimapur, December 9: Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, T Wati Aier inaugurated the EDC at GHSS, Kiphire in the presence of Joint Director Industries & Commerce, Youth Net Kohima, DEO and the staff of GHSS on December 7.
Aier encouraged the students to make best use of the centre and to set education as the first priority in their life. He said that EDC will benefit the students as well as unemployed people and requested them to use it wisely even in the days to come.
Joint Director, Industries & Commerce, Lipongse Sangtam lamented that the people in the State don’t know what entrepreneurship is about. He added that many people only want to start their business on a large scale and fail.
The DC appealed to all the students to take advantage of the EDC and look at the future and to be prepared. He stated that if anyone is interested in online entrepreneurship development course from recognised institutions, they can go for free admission and free course and right after completion of the course, they will be reverted by the State Government.
Sangtam urged all the students to take it as a privilege since the Department will assist them financially in every aspect.
