
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 28: The Eastern Nagaland Public Organization (ENPO) has declared to observe December 4 and 5 as “Black Day” in entire Eastern Nagaland by hoisting black flags in all households.
It may be mentioned that following the gruesome murder of innocent public in Mon district by Indian Security Forces on December 4 and 5, 2021, the ENPO on December 14, 2021 had resolved to declare December 4 and 5 as “Black Day” in entire ENPO jurisdiction through a joint consultative meeting of all federating Tribal bodies and civil societies under ENPO at Longleng town.
In compliance with the resolution, apart from observing the day, the ENPO has requested everyone to spend some time to say a prayer remembering those souls and their family members and continue to let peaceful environment prevail in Eastern Nagaland region.
The ENPO has requested respective 7 tribal bodies under ENPO to disseminate the information to all villages and towns for a meaningful observance of the day.
