Dimapur, January 8: One Dumper (Ashok Leyland) truck was gutted in fire at Ahati, Tuli on January 7 last.
According to a press release issued by Fire & Emergency Services, after receiving the fire call, a quick response team from Tuli Fire Station was mobilized and two fire tenders along with sufficient equipment and fire personnel were pressed into action.
It took the fire team 40 minutes to combat the Fire. Property worth Rs.40Lakhs was lost in the inferno. There was no casualty. Cause of fire is suspected to be short-circuit in the wiring of the vehicle. The response team was led by Duty Commander ASI Noklangsangba. (Page News Service)
