DTF Dimapur, Kohima asked to restrict non-essential movement of people

Dimapur, May 8: Principal Secretary, Home, R Ramakrishnan, IAS has requested the District Task Force on Covid-19, Dimapur and Kohima to check and restrict non-essential movement of people.
In letters to Deputy Commissioner & Chairman,DTF, Kohima/Dimapur, the Principal Secretary stated that the government has received reports that non-essential movement of people is continuing into and from the Containment Zone to other districts in the state, which is a violation of the order issued on May 3 last regarding declaration of Containment Zone for Dimapur and Kohima.
He said the movement of inter-state transit passengers may be allowed as per provisions of Revised Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for returnees and travelers entering Nagaland. (Page News Service)
