DSF, DSU celebrates silver jubilee

Dimapur, June 23: Commemorating 25 Years Jubilee, Dimapur Shaki Fellowship and Dimapur Shaki Union organized a programme at Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar, and celebrated the day on June 19.
On the occasion, Director, Urban Development Department, A Zanbemo Ngullie observed that the two bodies (Dimapur Shaki fellowship and Dimapur Shaki Union) has become older by 25 years and emphasised on the need for committed mission works. He also released the jubilee souvenir marking the day.
Also speaking on the day, Additional Director, Rural Development, C Thungjamo Odyuo described Shaki village as one of the most picturesque villages bestowed with God’s manifold blessings. He felt that every person from Shaki village ought to acknowledge the blessings of God and further challenged the gathering to take up mission works.
Pastor Shaki Pastor church, K.Libenthung Lotha invoked God’s blessings by praying for Shaki people residing at Dimapur. A minute silence was observed as mark of respect to the Dimapur Shaki residents who have departed from this world.
Dimapur Shaki women fellowship enthralled the congregation with a Jubilee song. Yacheo Tsopoe said the invocation while K Zanpomo delivered the welcome note. Vote of thanks was proposed by L Mhathung Khuvung. The program ended with a mass prayer followed by the jubilee feast. (Page News Service)
