DPDB meets held at Wokha, Phek & Longleng

Dimapur, March 12: The monthly Wokha District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on March 11 in the DC’s conference hall, Wokha under the chairmanship of vice chairman and Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, IAS.
During the meeting the board approved the registration of Tssori Old Land Owners Union, Fishery Pond Farmers Society and construction of Lotha Middle Range Students Union Office building at Sanis town for recommendation.
The DC informing the members about the announcement of Parliamentary election 2019 by the Election Commission of India (ECI) stated that Model Code of Conduct (MCC) will be enforced and urged all concerned to abide by the norms of ECI and ensure that no violation of MCC is made. He also directed all Officers to remain in their respective place of posting and perform their assignment till election processes are over.
Deputy Commissioner also requested departments, which have not submitted the list of employees and vehicles attached to the officers, to submit the same at the earliest.
SDO (C) reminded all departments who have not given names of enforcement officer under National Tobacco Control Board to submit at the earliest.
Phek: The monthly meeting of Phek DPDB was held at DPDB conference hall on March 11.
DC Phek & vice chairman DPDB, Sachin Jaiswal, IAS reviewed the last meeting minutes and called upon the members to be serious in their work as the election time is nearing for which everyone needs to give his/her best effort while discharging duties. He also called upon all HoOs and staff of various departments to work hard.
Up-gradation of SDO, PWD (R&B) Meluri was given by EE PWD (R&B) Abija Khing Sub-Division.
Longleng: The Longleng District Planning & Development Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, John Tsulise Sangtam on March 8 in the DC’s conference hall.
Addressing the Board, the DC stressed on attendance of members in the important meetings and programmes of the district and reiterated the HoOs and officers to be in the station and cater to the needs of the people. He also informed on Lok Sabha election, requisition of Government vehicles and the presence of Government officers for smooth conduct of the ensuing election in the district.
SDO civil Longleng, D. Robin in-charge of transportation for the election informed the officers about requisition of Government vehicles to be submitted in good condition. He also apprised the members on exemption of Government vehicle for those officers engaged as nodal officers during the election.
