DPDB meets held at Tuensang, Peren

Dimapur, March 13: The monthly Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) & vice chairman DPDB Tuensang, Mohammad Ali, IAS in the DC’s conference hall on March 11.
The DC sought full cooperation and assistance for conducting free and fair elections. The officers of the departments should be in station during elections, he added.
The Board after lengthy discussions recommended the following agenda for approval by the government – Shifting of Dumping places, Registration of Radical Society at Noklak Village and the Mother’s Welfare Society Tuensang HQ.
The Board also deliberated on aspirational Block Chessore which was put up by Advisor and also Chairman of the DPDB Tuensang, Toshi Wungtung. In this regard Board decided to give more time for the verification and it was taken to the next meeting.
Peren: The monthly Peren District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on March 11 in the DC’s conference hall, Peren.
DC and Vice chairman DPDB Peren Sarita Yadav IAS informed all HoOs to take note of the general Lok Sabha elections training seriously which will be held from time to time. Assistant Election Officer, Peren informed the members that election code of conduct has been enforced and all employees were requested to be in station. (Page News Service)
