DPDB meetings held at Tuensang, Zunheboto

Dimapur, May 14: Tuensang District Planning & Development Board held its monthly meeting under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, A. Zibenthung Kithan, NCS at DC’s Conference Hall, Tuensang on May 14.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed his appreciation to all the departments for their active participation during the conducted of the Lok Sabha Election 2024. He also requested the heads of offices to remaining in their respective station.
E.E PHED, Er. Kedolhuto Punyu highlighted the status of recent concluded Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games held at Dimapur in which Tuensang District won 9 medals and also distributed certificate to the participants. He thanked the heads of offices for their valuable contribution in kind and cash and also conveyed his special thanks to the former Deputy Commissioner, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa.
During the meeting, DLRSO, Sangthing Khiam requested those department yet to get land patta of their office and staff quarters to do so at the earliest.
ADC Tuensang, Thungchanbemo Tungoe requested the members to submit Government vehicle details for the coming municipal election. The Board also forwarded for the creation of SDAO Office at Noksen Sub-Division. The house recommended for society registration of Mithun Farming Association of Nyinyem Village and SB-GEN welfare Society Yangpi village.
The monthly Zunheboto District Planning & Development Board meeting cum Board member’s picnic was held at Arkha’s Farm on 14th May 2024 under the Chairmanship of G. Ikuto Zhimomi Chairman DPDB & Advisor for Land Resources.
The meeting began with welcome address by Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali (IAS) where he congratulated and expressed his gratitude to all the HoDs and members for the successful conduct of the recently concluded parliamentary Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
The Board Chairman G. Ikuto Zhimomi on behalf of all the seven legislatures thanked all the HoDs, other officers and government employees for their sincere cooperation for the smooth conduct of Lok Sabha elections in the district. He also highlighted about the upcoming ULB elections in the state and appealed to all the HoDs for their cooperation and support.
The meeting deliberated on the agenda proposed and forwarded by ADC Satakha, M.S. Thangpong for establishment of Sub-Post office at Satakha Sub-division. The board elaborated and agreed upon to forward the case to the concern department for approval.
The meetings culminated with a briefing from the chair about the World Environment Day to be observed on 5th June 2024, and requested the HoDs for their support in every possible means.
