DPDB meetings held at Tuensang, Longleng

Dimapur, November 8: Tuensang District Planning and Development meeting was held in the DC’s conference hall on November 6 under the chairmanship of DC, Kumar Ramnikant IAS.
In the meeting, the DC enquired about office attendance and functioning of departments in the district.
Agenda on opening of schools was discussed where the ADEO Tuensang responded that the department is all prepared but will depend on the NBSE survey directives. She highlighted all the ongoing exercises in the department like online classes and exams. She mentioned factors that are hampering the ongoing processes like slow internet connectivity and infrastructures for segregation of pupils inside the class.
IRCS agenda on enrolment of officers of the district was also discussed and reaffirmed that the DPDB members be member of IRCS. Er. Chingmak Chang Executive Engineers Water Resources Tuensang was conferred life time officer member of IRCS of the District.
The agenda on dilapidated condition of NH 202 was also discussed and EE NH Tuensang responded that the restoration works are on and department workforce stationed at three different places in action. He conveyed to the house that at the earliest possible the NH 202 will be taken over by NHIDCL which may be good sign for improvement of the road.
The NH department Tuensang was asked to furnish the details of the roads and bridges within NH 202 so that DPDB may forward to the competent authority for the early bailout of the situation.
The house also discussed on random parking of vehicles in roads and traffic diversions within the town and decided to set up a committee comprising District administration, town council, transport, police and All Ward Union to review the matter.
Longleng: The monthly Longleng District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on November 6 in the DC’s conference hall under the chairmanship of ADC Longleng D. Robin.
The ADC requested all HoDs to attend the monthly meeting without fail, and also if the HoDs cannot attend in person, representative from the department who has department work knowledge should attend the meeting.
The meeting Review discussed upgradation of police post at Tamlu HQ and land survey. Regarding registration of P. Helom Phom charitable society, the board agreed to forward for Government registration. (Page News Service)
