Dimapur, September 27: The Directorate of Education, Nagaland, has reiterated the critical importance of adhering to the Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021, as notified by the Government of Nagaland dated 29th November 2022. The guidelines apply to all categories of schools operating within the State of Nagaland, including Government, private, KV, JNV, CBSE, CISCE, and EMRS schools.
The Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021, have been enacted to establish a framework for holding school management accountable for the safety of children enrolled in all schools, both
Government and private. These guidelines came into effect on 29th November 2022 and are accessible on the Department’s Online Education Services Portal at https://dosenl.in.
All Heads of Schools have been urged to diligently implement these guidelines and ensure the safety and security of all students under their care.
