DoSE directs schools regarding admission for students from Manipur

Nagaland News

Dimapur, June 9: The Department of School Education is collecting data on students who are residents/inhabitants of Nagaland and returned from Manipur following the law & order situation.
The Department has reminded the Heads of all Schools (Government/Private/NBSE/CBSE/ICSE) functioning within the State of Nagaland to submit the number of such students admitted in their schools since May 2023 at the Activities Tab provided at the Online School Monitoring Portal https://school.dosenl.in on or before June 12 without fail.
Further, Schools following the State Curriculum have been directed to grant provisional admission to students belonging to the above category up to Class 7 without the production of educational documents from the school previously studied.
Parents of such students should submit an undertaking to the effect that they will submit all required documents before the commencement of the Third Term Examination 2023, failing which the provisional admission granted may be cancelled.
Admissions to Classes 8 and above would be done with the prior approval of the Nagaland Board of School Education.
