Don’t harass COVID-19 frontline workers: Govt appeals


Dimapur, April 30: The Government of Nagaland has appealed to all citizens of the State not to harass COVID-19 frontline workers.
“A large number of our people including health workers, police, sanitation workers, etc are in the frontlines in our fight against COVID-19. It is of utmost importance that every kind of support and cooperation is extended to them so as to strengthen their capabilities and their resolve in the fight against COVID- 19. Any kind of harassment impacting the living or working conditions of such people will only weaken us,” said Principal Secretary Abhijit Sinha, IAS
He called upon all to strive to work together, encourage one another and render all possible assistance to the frontline workers so as to enable them to carry on their work with renewed vigour and without any hindrances whatsoever. (Page News Service)
