DoI&C bids farewell to retiring director

Dimapur, March 2: The Department of Industries & Commerce organized a farewell programme in honour of retiring Director of Industries & Commerce Er.S.Temsulong Jamir on February 28 in the Directorate conference hall. The programme was chaired by Shri Vitsutho Nyuthe, Joint Director (Admn).
Incoming Director K.Hokishe Assumi spoke on behalf of the officers and staff and lauded the retiring Director for his exemplary contributions to the department and wished him a happy retired life.
Special guest Imnatiba, Advisor of Industries & Commerce & NIDC, while congratulating the retiring Director for contributing to the department in different capacities during the last 35 years of service also expressed serious concern at the prevailing situation in Naga society which prevents the growth and development of the department. He called upon the officers and staff of the department to work with dedication and purpose and take it as a God given privilege to work with fellow staff till the time of retirement from service.
Retiring Director Er.S.Temsulong Jamir expressed gratitude to the officers and staff for extending him cooperation and support during his service in the department. He also expressed his concern for the pending promotions of officers and called upon the competent authority to expedite the matter at the earliest.
