Dimapur, April 10: Dimapur District Administration in collaboration with Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) under the supervision of Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Tsidi distributed essential food items to around 890 stranded students especially to those staying in rent without parents and in hostels.
The DNSU appreciated the Government for responding promptly to the needs of the students. It also extends its acknowledgement to the Muslim Council Dimapur (MCD) for contributing essential food items to around 100 students in need and those other organisations involved in helping the students community.
Further, the Union said it would continue extending its fullest cooperation to the district administration and all other governmental agencies and NGO’s in fighting COVID-19 and asked those genuine stranded students to give their details such as Name, Phone No., Name of the College/School, Class, hostel/rent, address/House.
