Dimapur, May 8: Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) vehemently condemned the recent rape incident that happened on April 28 at Netaji Colony, Dimapur.
In a press release by Media Cell DNSU, it stated that when the whole world is fighting to survive due to COVID-19 pandemic, Ashish Ghosh and Shymal commits inhuman activities and do not seem to care at all and continue to be a threat to the society creating more chaos.
The DNSU affirms that it will not tolerate this sort of act that tarnishes the very modesty and endangers the safety of women in our society.
The Union urged the law enforcing agencies to thoroughly investigate the case with utmost seriousness and make sure that the culprits are punished as per the law.
It further appealed to the concerned court not to grant bail against whom there is serious allegations.
