DLSAs conduct extempore speech competitions


Dimapur, March 4: To impart knowledge and understating on fundamental duties to school students, DLSAs conducted extempore speech competition with Legal Literacy Club (LLC) members across the State.
Wokha DLSA organised extempore speech competition on ‘Fundamental Duties ‘ in the DC’s conference hall, Wokha on February 28. Kimeri Y Tungoe, Springdale School, Yanpolumi Kikon, Grace School and Lirhoni Tungoe, Springdale School won the prizes respectively.
Tuensang DLSA conducted extempore speech on ‘Fundamental Duties’ on February 28 at CKS Hall. Altogether 8 LLC members participated in the competition. Bharul Islam, St. Joseph School won the first prize and Thsalila, Eklaveya Model Residential School and Betichemden, EMRS won 2nd and 3rd prize respectively followed by 6 consolation prizes.
Phek DLSA conducted extempore speech competition on fundamental duties at Phek and Pfutsero on February 22 and 28. On February 22, the competition was conducted at Christian Home School LLC members at PTC Hall Phek. In the competition Lhouzhetho bagged first position, Shepotso 2nd and Dzuthono third respectively.
On February 28, Phek DLSA conducted the competition at Government Higher Secondary School, LLC Pfutsero. The first position was bagged by Weneipe koza, 2nd position by Shevezo Puro and 3rd by Sewe Medo.
Longleng DLSA conducted the competition on February 28 at District Court conference hall Longleng. The first prize was bagged by Ayentohla, Shamakok Mission School, second by Chingphu from Good Shepherds School and third by Chubum from Shamakok Mission School.
