DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 5: The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has appealed to the “departments” concerned to disburse the second installment of CSS-PMS ST 2021-2022 (scholarship) to eligible students by December 15.
In a press release, the Union reminded that it had previously demanded the immediate release of the pending scholarship money in November.
“As such, the Union acknowledges the Central Government and the State Government for positively responding towards its appealed by sanctioning Rs 36,08,43,250 as arrears 2nd installment for the year 2021-2022 and 1st installment (50% of Central share) for the year 2022-2023, dated November 16, 2022.
“In accordance with this, the Union while understanding the requisite procedure to issue drawal authority, vehemently calls upon the attention of the concerned Departments to abstain from introducing excuses on delaying the disbursement of scholarship to the students”, it stated.
