Dimapur Police recovered stolen LP truck

Dimapur, September 16: In a major breakthrough, Dimapur Police recovered a stolen LP truck belonging to the CCI, Bokajan from Thilixu village in Dimapur within 24 hours and handed over the vehicle to Karbi Anglong police.
Talking to Nagaland Page, SDPO Bokajan John Das APS said that last evening one LP truck bearing the registration number NLO1-K- 7807 was stolen. He said the vehicle belonged to the Cement Corporation of India (CCI), Bokajan.
A case has been registered in this connection at Bokajan PS and the team was led by OC Bokajan PS to Nagaland along with Anti Vehicle Theft Squad (AVTS).
“We have arrested the handyman of the truck and then the handyman led us to the stolen vehicle and meanwhile prime accused was arrested from Bokajan”, the SDPO said.
The Dimapur Police Anti Vehicle Theft Team cracked the case at the fastest pace and helped us in recovering the vehicle. The truck was handed to us, he said.
Appreciating the efforts of Dimapur Police, John Das said, “I appreciate the effort of Nagaland police on behalf of the Karbi Anglong Police for their cooperation. This was the truck stolen from CCI Bokajan. The Dimapur police AVTS helped Bokajan police to recover the vehicle”.
The prime accused have been arrested today from Bokajan. The vehicle was recovered from Diphupar area, John Das said.
Meanwhile speaking to Dimapur Police PRO, T Relo Aye said the recovery of the stolen truck was related to the Bokajan PS case and it was recovered today from Thilixu village by the Anti Vehicle Thefts Squad (AVTS). (Page News Service)
