Dimapur, July 3: National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP) Dimapur District observed Anti-Malaria Month 2021 in 10 from June 1 to 30 under the theme ‘Reaching the Zero Malaria Target’ with an aim to spread awareness on anti-malaria measures and to mobilize the community to take responsibility and take active participation in the fight against malaria and other vector borne diseases.
Activities such as miking on key note factors of malaria, poster campaign, blood slide sample collection, and message for effective usage of Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLIN) were conducted during the observation, said a NVBDCP release.
The month long observation was supervised and monitored by Dr A Kavito Zhimomi, DVBO and active field participation of all MTSs, SMIs, SIs, SWs and ASHAs during the observation in carrying out anti-malaria activities and mobilizing the public.
